Queensland Adventure Tours offers you a range of action packed organised tours around Cairns and Far North Queensland. We guide you through many of the areas most beautiful natural attractions and as part of our tours we provide you tuition and equipment allowing you to enjoy our many activities like yacht sailing, scuba diving, snorkelling and kitesurfing.

Reef Day Tours
On our Reef Day tour you sail out to the Great Barrier Reef, to the magnificent coral and High Island. Covered with rainforest and fringed with reef it’s truly a tropical paradise. As largest in island Franklin group it’s located a mere 4km from coast just south of Cairns. This means less time in transit and more of your day to enjoy the activities at the reef. As part of your day trip you will take part in activites ranging from learning how to sail a yacht to going snorkelling or scuba diving on the reef and treking the rainforest to lookout of a tropical island.
As a dedicated PADI Dive Center we have a range of courses that can teach all divers, from complete novice right up to the diving proffessional. We also offer many popular diving specialties like Underwater Photography, Deep Diving, Night Diving and Reef Naturalist coarses. Our school specializes in the four day PADI Open Water and Advanced courses are open to all. Students are trained to PADI’s high standards. On completion they recieve the world recognised PADI Certification that ensures they are both competent and safe to dive.
Kite Surfing Training and Day Tours
On our Kite Surfing Daytour you will be taken with your group to one of many beautiful beachs bordering the Coral Sea. There you’ll experience the thrills of flying both powerkites and surf kites. Newbies to kitesurfing participate in a formal introductory to Kite Surfing Lesson, this helps to develop kite handling skills before they are let loose on their own. As all extreme sports a safety is our priority so briefings and supervision is provided for the whole day along with the equipment you’ll use and some practical skills demonstrations.
Kite Surfing Lessons
Are focused One on One Kite Boarding lessons designed to maximise your skill development, here you will learn to kite hard and faster than ever before. Pushing you to challenge your currant surfing techniques that will improve your skills quicker. As always we provide the learning environment where immediate feedback is provided. Thus assisting you to progress from a novice kite boarder to a confident board rider as quickly as possible.
Accomodation and Booking Office
Our booking office and holiday accommodation address is at 68 Water Street in the centre of Cairns. It’s just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the busy esplanade of Cairns City. Inside it’s modern clean and spacious with Queensland contempory architecture. We pride ourselves on being a cost effective alternative a hotel or backpacker hostel. Along with the cost benefits we have a large choice private or double rooms with self catering kitchens, laundry facilities and lush beautiful tropical gardens to relax in. It’s a perfect tropical getaway while still giving you easy walking access to the heart of Cairns.
